Types of whitening

The cause of the discolouration (decay, fillings, internal staining) is assessed first; not every type of discolouration is suitable for whitening.
Is it safe?
Whitening is safe when carried out under a dentist’s supervision. Your gum and enamel health are assessed first and an appropriate strength is used. Some temporary sensitivity can occur afterwards; this usually settles within a short time.
